Full Description

Cossington Park is an ideal self catering property for a large group – several families or a group of friends. There are six bedrooms and four bathrooms, sleeping in total 16 plus cots. We are pleased to accept dogs at the property and to welcome them offer a ‘doggy welcome pack’! We also have a separate 3 bedroomed cottage on the estate which sleeps up to 6 and also welcomes dogs.
The property is a superb, listed home in extensive and beautifully maintained gardens – suiting all ages and perfect for family reunions. It has been owned by one family for over 300 years and paintings, antiques, papers, photographs and 5000 books reflect our history.
Totally secluded yet just a short walk from the village pub, it makes an excellent base from which to explore the beautiful Somerset Countryside.
There is a Library, large Drawing Room, period Dining Room, Breakfast Room and farmhouse-style Kitchen and Scullery. Outside are: extensive lawn and flower borders; ‘ha-ha’ with feature bridge; paddock with apples; barbecue; games field; kitchen garden; front garden; walled vegetable garden. Indoor and outdoor games.
